We're a small team of culture lovers, history nerds and storytellers, and we have one simple idea: Europe's Black history deserves to be seen, walked and celebrated.
We love learning something new, and we know a good holiday needs room to breathe. Our trips make time for stories and conversation, shared meals and afternoons you can make your own.
Why we started NJILA
Too often, Black heritage in Europe is left out of the tour or squeezed into a footnote.
We think it's the main story!
NJILA (it means "road" in Kimbundu) is our way of putting it back on the map and of making sure the money you spend travelling reaches the communities whose history you came to see.
